Endre Koronczi sa narodil v roku 1968 v Budapešti. Študoval od roku 1986 po 1990 na Akadémii výtvarných umení v Budapešti a od roku 1990 po roku 1992 pokračoval v postgraduálnom štúdiu na tejto univerzite. Koronczi nemá žiadne zábrany hrabať sa v našej privátnej sfére. Napriek tomu je ťažké sa naňho nahnevať, pretože tento bolestivý proces začína sám na sebe.
Koronczi vyzdvihuje zmeny poslednej doby v chápaní mužskosti. Často sa hovorí, že mužskosť prežíva svoju krízu. Toto pozorovanie je možno sporné, avšak niet pochybností o tom, že vyjadrenie mužských emócií je žiadanejšie. Jeho práce sa dotýkajú rôznych stupňov kolobehu života; sú schopné vypovedať o tzv. „veľkých otázkach života“ a skúmať ich vzrušujúcim spôsobom vyhýbajúc sa medzi tým úskaliam.
Enre Koronczi sa na maďarskej umeleckej scéne predstavil v polovici 90-tych rokov. Medzi jeho početnými oceneniami bol odmenený v roku 2010 cenou Intermodemu.

Koronczi Endre 1968-ban született Budapesten. 1986-tól 1990-ig a Magyar Képzőművészeti Akadémián tanult Budapesten, tanulmányait ugyanitt posztgraduális tanulmányokkal bővítette 1990-től 1992-ig. Koronczi hajlamos gátlástalanul beleásni más személyes terébe, de nehéz lenne megharagudni rá, mivel ezt a fájdalmas procedúrát saját magán kezdi. Koronczi az utóbbi idő változásait a férfiasság értelmezésében emeli ki. Gyakran halljuk, hogy a férfiasság krízisben van. Ez a meglátás vitatható, de nincs kétség afelől, hogy a férfiak érzelmeinek kifejezése már elfogadott. Alkotásai az élet körforgásának a különböző pontjait érintik, az élet „nagy kérdéseiről” is árulkodnak, és képesek nagyon izgalmas módon a csapdákat elkerülve mesélni.
Koronczi Endre a magyar művészet világában a 90-
es évek közepén mutatkozott be. Számos díj mellett
2010-ben elnyerte az Intermodem díját is.

Endre Koronczi was born in 1968 in Budapest. He studied from 1986 to 1990 at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, and from 1990 to 1992 he continued in his postgraduate studies at the Academy. Koronczi has no inhibitions when he is digging into our private sphere. Despite of this it is hard to get angry with him, since he starts this painful process on himself.
Koronczi highlights the changing perceptions of masculinity over the past decade. If is often said that masculinity is in crisis. This observation might be questionable, but there is no doubt about the wider acceptance of the presentations of more layered masculine emotions.
The works of Endre Koronczi are touching upon the various stages of the life circle; they are able to talk about the so called “big questions of life” and investigate them in an exciting manner, meanwhile manage to avoid the pitfall of solemnity.
Endre Koronczi has been present on the Hungarian art scene since the mid 90s. Amongst his numerous prizes he is the recipient of the prize of Intermodem 2010.
