Beate Linne, sa narodila v nemeckom Korbachu. Vyštudovala architektúru na univerzite v Kasseli, ako aj nemecký jazyk, literatúru a výtvarné umenie na univerzite v Hildesheime. Beate Linne je umelkyňa na voľnej nohe. Performancii sa venuje od roku 2007. Žije a pracuje v Goslar, Nemecko. Performanciu považuje za príležitosť sebavyjadrenia prostredníctvom vytvárania obrazov a živých akcií so svojím vlastným telom. Rieši základné otázky života skúmaním správania sa, testuje hranice a kladie otázky. Najdôležitejším aspektom je stretávanie a výmena informácií medzi ľuďmi a možnosť iniciovať myšlienkové procesy a otvoriť myseľ. Vo svojich performanciách sa zaoberá témami ako núdza, smrť, altruizmus a dôvera. Činnosti a materiál majú často symbolický charakter. Umelkyňa rada zaťahuje do svojich performancií aj publikum, ktoré sa stáva ich aktívnou súčasťou.

Beate Linne a németországi Korbachban született. Egyetemi tanulmányait építészeti szakon végezte el Kasselban. A Hildesheimi Egyetemen német nyelvet, irodalmat és képzőművészetet hallgatott. Beate Linne szabadúszó művészként tevékenykedik. Performansz művészettel 2007 óta foglalkozik. A németországi Gloslarban él és dolgozik. A performanszt egyfajta önkifejezési módszernek tartja, képek és élő akciók saját testével való alkotásával. Olyan az élethez kapcsolódó alapkérdések foglalkoztatják, mint a vészhelyzetek, a halál, altruizmus és a bizalom. A cselekvéseknek és az anyagoknak gyakran jelképes jelleget ad. A művésznő szívesen kapcsolja a performanszaiba a közönséget, így ők is aktív részévé válhatnak művészetének.

 

​Beate Linne was born in Korbach, Germany, she studied architecture at the University of Kassel, as well as German language and literature and fine Arts at the University of Hildesheim. She is Freelance artist. Own performances since 2007. She lives and works in Goslar, Germany. She considers Performance as an opportunity to express herself by means of creating images and live actions with her body – to deal with basic issues of live, by exploring behavior, testing limits and asking questions. The most important aspect is the encounter and the exchange between the people – and the possibility to initiate thinking processes and open the mind. In her performances she deals among other things with themes like deprivation, death, altruism and confidence. The actions and materials often have a symbolic character. She also likes to involve the audience in the performance, so that they become an active part in it.
